An Academy Lecture on “Modeling and Intervention in Preventing Cholera, Gut and Vaginal Microbiota in Shaping Health and Pregnancy Outcome” to be presented by Dr. Munirul Alam, Fellow, BAS and Senior Scientist & Head, Molecular Ecology and Metagenomic Laboratory, Infectious Diseases Division, icddr,b. This Academy Lecture organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will be held on Wednesday, 30 August 2023 at 11:00 am at the Pharmacy Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, Dhaka 1000.


Emeritus Prof. Dr. AK Azad Chowdhury, President, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences has kindly agreed to attend the Lecture as the Chief Guest.

Prof. Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka has kindly agreed to attend the Lecture as the Special Guest.

Prof. Dr. Zahurul Karim, Vice President,, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will preside over the occasion.
