About IAMP
The health network of academies of science and medicine
The InterAcademy Medical Panel (IAMP), a global network of academies of science and medicine, is committed to improving health world-wide. IAMP activities focus on institutional collaboration to strengthen the role of all academies to alleviate the health burdens of the world's poorest people; build scientific capacity for health; and provide independent scientific advice on promoting health science and health care policy to national governments and global organizations.
Programme
The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday 9 June 2010 there will be 2 days of scientific symposia and the third day (Friday 11 June 2010) will be dedicated to IAMP 3rd General Assembly.
Participation
Three fellows of the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will represent the Academy in the IAMP meeting, namely
- National Professor Dr. Nurul Islam
- National Professor Dr. M. R. Khan
- Professor Dr. Khwaja M.S. Aziz
Organization
The meeting is organized by IAMP in close collaboration with Academy of Sciences Malaysian.
