Dr. Borlaug received Distinguished Service Awards from various Governments and civil authorities and has been honorary citizen of a large number of countries.
Dr. Borlaug worked in various capacities in the U.S.A. and many other countries particularly as consultant to various International Organisations such as FAO, International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center etc.
