| Served erstwhile Ahsanullah Engineering College (Upgraded as University of Engineering & Technology from 1962) as Lecturer in Electrical Engineering from November 1956 to September 1959; as Assistant Professor from March 1963 to November 1968; as Associate Professor from November 1968 to February 1970; as Professor from February 1970 to April 1983; as Vice-Chancellor from 24 April 1983 to 25 April 1987. During this tenure of service at BUET, he was Founder Director of the Computer Centre and held the post of Director from 1978 to 1980 and June 1982 to April 1983. He served as Provost of the Nazrul Islam Hall from May 1969 to October 1973 and as Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Joined Islamic Centre for Technical and Vocational Training and Research (ICTVTR) as its Head and Chief Executive on May 1, 1987 till retirement in 1998. | |
