The International Programme for Higher Education and Research (IPHER) provides over 280 fellowships annually tenable in developing countries such as Brazil, China, India, Malaysia, Mexico and Pakistan for scientists from developing countries. Fellowships, for various lengths of time, are available for postgraduate, postdoctoral and advanced research. Brief details of each programme are provided below.

Fellowships for Postgraduate Training TWAS-CNPq Fellowships for Postgraduate Research in Brazil The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and TWAS offer fellowships for scientists from developing countries (other than Brazil) who wish to obtain a PhD in the natural sciences.
